COUNSELORS, CREW, & WORSHIP TEAMS

Alongside our leadership team, our staff is made up of counselors, CREW, and worship. These teams are made up of college students from the Athens area and all share a passion for incoming students and making the gospel known.

Counselor Team

Counselors for the retreat will have several freshmen in their family group that they are expected to lead in conversation pertaining to the different sessions, typical freshman issues, and how to be a disciple of Christ on campus. They are paired with another counselor and their family group will meet together for the majority of the retreat.

CREW Team

CREW is an acronym for

Connect

- They are the glue, the spark, the people-magnet. CREW connects freshmen to each other and to Jesus like it’s their full-time mission (because it is).

Rely

- Prayer is a significant part of this role both before and during the retreat. Our goal is that CREW grows in reliance on the Lord.

Enrich

- They are the vibe-bringers, the joy-givers, the servant leaders who make the entire retreat come alive.

Work

- Being a member of CREW involves lots of WORK. There are many moving parts, tasks, and details that must be completed at the retreat and CREW makes it all happen.

The CREW is the team working behind the scenes to make everything happen.

Worship Team

Being a part of the ARCH Worship team is a wonderful experience filled with so much fulfillment and joy. They lead our freshmen and transfer students in praises to the Lord and lift high the name of Jesus in song. By bringing yourself low into a posture of humility, there is nothing like leading the next generation of God’s people in corporate worship. They will be leading worship on stage during all main sessions, as well as play a vital role in meeting and connecting students to community and the local church!
